How much does full body waxing cost in Dubai?

A full body wax at a high-quality salon in Dubai typically costs AED 315, covering legs, arms, bikini, and underarms. Smaller areas range from AED 32–158.

How long does a full body wax last in Dubai’s climate?

Expect smooth skin for 4-6 weeks, but some regrowth may appear sooner due to heat, friction from clothing, or your natural growth cycle.

Is waxing or threading better for sensitive skin?

For facial hair, threading can be gentler on sensitive skin with less risk of irritation. For body, waxing is more effective, especially on larger or coarser areas.

How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?

Exfoliate gently 24 hours before, avoid moisturisers on wax day, and ensure hair is at least 6mm long. Disclose any recent skin treatments or sensitivities.

Can I swim or use the gym after waxing?

Wait 24-48 hours before swimming, gym or sauna, as open follicles are prone to irritation and infection. Let the skin calm before resuming these activities.

What’s the difference in cost between waxing and threading in Dubai?

Threading is usually less expensive for small areas like brows or upper lip, but waxing is more cost-efficient for large body areas.

Is waxing safe for curly or textured hair?

Yes, if performed by a stylist experienced with Afro/textured hair, using the right technique to avoid breakage and ingrown hairs.

How do I prevent ingrown hairs after waxing in Dubai?

Moisturise daily, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and avoid tight clothing immediately after your wax.

Does waxing hurt more in humid Dubai weather?

Humidity can make skin more sensitive, but proper prep and technique minimise discomfort. Hydrated skin also tolerates waxing better.

Is full body waxing suitable for first-timers?

Absolutely, though a consultation is recommended. A gentle, hygienic salon with experienced staff will make your first wax much smoother.

Can I get waxing and threading done together?

Yes, many clients combine facial threading with body waxing for complete hair removal, as each technique suits different areas best.

How do I choose the best waxing salon in Dubai?

Look for hygiene, genuine expertise (especially in textured hair), clear prices, honest pre- and aftercare advice, and a welcoming, respectful team.

Full Body Waxing Dubai Cost: The Real Story Behind Silky Skin

21 August 2026 3 min read

Confidence doesn’t begin in the mirror, it starts the moment you decide you deserve to feel smooth, clean and utterly at ease in your own skin. If you’ve ever scrolled for 'waxing near me Dubai' only to be swamped by endless options and confusing prices, you’re far from alone. Here’s what truly matters when choosing full body waxing in Dubai, costs, craft and care, written for women who expect more than just a quick strip and dash.

What Does Full Body Waxing in Dubai Actually Cost?

Let’s get specific. At a premium, hygiene-focused salon, a full body wax (including arms, legs, underarms, bikini and more) is AED 315. Single areas range from AED 32 (underarms) up to AED 158 (Brazilian), depending on what you need. If you see wild bargains, remember: quality wax and strict hygiene are non-negotiable, especially in Dubai’s climate and multicultural context.

Threading vs Waxing: Price & Practicality in Dubai

Threading is artful for brows and facial fuzz, but for large areas or coarser body hair, waxing is simply more efficient. Here’s a real-world comparison:

Service	Typical Duration	Price (AED)	Lasts (weeks)
Under Arms Wax	10 min	32	3-4
Full Legs Wax	25-35 min	137	4-6
Bikini Wax	15-20 min	105	3-5
Full Body Wax	60-75 min	315	4-6
Facial Threading	15-25 min	Varies	2-3

Threading is precise and gentle on sensitive facial skin, but for body, waxing remains the gold standard, especially for clients from humid neighbourhoods like Deira or high-rise Dubai Marina, where sweat and sand can irritate regrowth.

Your Pre-Wax Ritual: How to Prep for the Best Results

Preparation is half the secret to a flawless wax. Here’s what top stylists wish every client knew:

Exfoliate gently 24 hours before (not the morning of) to lift trapped hairs.
Skip moisturisers and oils on wax day. Clean, dry skin is key.
Let hair grow to at least 6mm (grain of rice) for a clean pull, too short, and you’ll leave with patchy results.
If you’re on retinoids or have had a recent peel, mention it. Your skin deserves extra caution.

Our body waxing services are performed with strict hygiene: gloves, single-use spatulas and proper prep so you walk out fresh, never sticky.

Aftercare in Dubai’s Heat: Making Your Wax Last

Dubai’s sun and humidity are relentless, so aftercare isn’t just a bonus, it’s essential. Respect that fresh waxed skin is more vulnerable:

Avoid heat (sun, gym, sauna) for 24-48 hours.
Wear loose clothing to prevent friction.
Moisturise daily, but skip fragranced lotions and heavy oils right after your wax.
If ingrowns are a concern, exfoliate gently 2-3 times a week after the first 48 hours.

Hydration, both inside and out, keeps skin supple and regrowth softer, especially for our clients with curly or textured hair, from JVC to Bur Dubai.

Why Trust Matters: The Salon Difference

Waxing is intimate, even vulnerable. A premium salon offers not just spotless tools, but honest advice, especially for textured hair, sensitive skin or first-timers. At Qasr Alshar, our senior crown artists are known for their Afro/textured-hair expertise, discretion, and careful technique (including pre-wax skin analysis). Clients from across Dubai, Karama, Business Bay and beyond, value the craft, not just the speed.
